Steve is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Summit Commercial Real Estate Group and has overall strategic, operational and legal responsibility for the company. Steve has more than 25 years of in depth experience in commercial real estate investment, acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and management of major real estate projects. Steve has spearheaded investment acquisitions, negotiated contracts, marketed, and successfully sold/leased and financed real estate in excess of $450M.
Prior to joining Summit, Steve was the Managing Director of Granite Ridge LLC, where he leveraged his experience to visualize, start and grow a real estate company engaged in the acquisition, development, investment and management of commercial, NNN lease, retail, multi-family and medical office properties throughout the East Coast of the United States.
Steve also served as the COO, CFO and General Counsel for Case Supply, Inc., where he implemented and guided all legal, operational, financial, IT, and HR processes for the multi-location consumer products company with annual revenues of $15M+.
Steve began his career as an Attorney with Hancock & Estabrook, LLP. with a primary focus on Real Estate and Corporate Law.
Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University, and earned a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Business/Corporate Law from Syracuse University College of Law.
Steve is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker.
